CourseVerdict (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates aicourseverdict.com(the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We do not sell personal data, run retargeting ads, or build advertising profiles. The Site is a content website — not an ad network.

Automatically collected data

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:

• Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, referrer URL, and browser/device type. Collected via PostHog (self-hosted analytics, no cross-site tracking).
• Affiliate cookies — when you click a partner link, the partner network (Impact) may place a cookie to track the referral. These cookies are set by the partner network, not by us. Impact privacy policy.

Information you provide

• Newsletter email — if you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Stored in our newsletter backend and used only to send the emails you signed up for. Unsubscribe link in every email.
• Contact messages — if you email us, we receive your name, email address, and message content. Used only to respond to your inquiry.

• To operate and improve the Site
• To send the newsletter (only to subscribers)
• To track affiliate referrals so partners can pay commissions
• To respond to your inquiries

We do not:

• Sell, rent, or trade your personal information
• Use your data for automated decision-making or profiling
• Run targeted advertising or retargeting campaigns

The Site uses the following cookies:

• Analytics (PostHog) — first-party cookie to count unique visitors and understand which pages are read. No cross-site tracking.
• Affiliate (Impact)— third-party cookie set when you click an affiliate link. Tracks the referral for commission attribution. Expires per the advertiser’s program terms.
• Theme preference — stores your dark/light mode choice. No personal data.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Affiliate links will still work — you will be taken to the course page; the partner simply won’t track the referral.

We use these third-party services that may process visitor data:

• Vercel — hosting and CDN. Privacy policy
• PostHog — product analytics. Privacy policy
• Impact — affiliate partner network. Privacy policy

• Analytics data — retained for 24 months.
• Newsletter emails — retained until you unsubscribe.
• Contact messages — retained for 12 months after the conversation concludes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe from newsletter)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
